PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of this job is to lead the sales activity in the assigned territory (Southern Ontario) through pursuing target customers, maintaining existing customer base, developing market maps and successfully closing orders to grow the overall territory.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Meets or exceeds territory order commitments and sales revenue forecast as established by the Regional Sales Manager.
+ Maintain and build relationships with end user customers
+ Prospect and find opportunities for growth with new customers and industries and with existing established customer base
+ Develop and implement strategies for displacement of competition at new and existing targeted accounts with the goal of increased market share and penetration
+ Recommend customized product offerings based on deep understanding of end user system, needs and constraints.
+ Proficient with new product and market trends, territory market data, orders and sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence.
+ Interact with customer in person and remotely to review existing or new applications to evaluate and recommend pumping solutions to best fit the applications.
+ Self-motivated, competitive and possess a desire to achieve and exceed clearly defined goals and objectives.
+ Strong business acumen related to sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer call planning
+ Ability to grow and develop targeted growth products and customers
+ Monthly forecasting aligned to sales plan
+ CRM proficiency and diligence maintained daily
+ Have an organized, detailed and efficient approach to lead and quote follow-up, expenses, planning and reporting
+ Support Channel Team and Channel Partners as required
+ Engage with and support technological innovations and initiatives as they are developed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
+ Technical post-secondary degree is preferred or a minimum of 5 years’ experience with outside technical sales of rotating equipment.
+ Strong business experience and acumen with sales forecasting, prospecting, and history of success
+ Proven Ability to listen, gain trust with customer, bring closure to an action, project or opportunity.
+ Bilingual in French and English an asset
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Willing to travel as needed to visit customers
+ Formal presentation skills
+ Ability to work independently
+ Able to travel in Canada and the US
COMPUTER SKILLS:
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.
+ Experience with CRM a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
+ Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.
+ Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.
+ Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.
+ General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
+ Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and all levels of corporate and company personnel.
+ Requires contact with people from all departments, suppliers and delivery people.

**Total Rewards**
The compensation range for this position is $89,400.00 - $134,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
