Distribution Technician
**Hospital Stocker** Pay:$24.50 Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am - Must be able to work weekends - Variable schedule Overview: The Distribution Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment across the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Issue and deliver supplies to designated departments. Utilize ERP systems for inventory management, including issuing, crediting, and tracking supplies. Restock carts, trays, and drawers as needed. Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and motorized carts. Rotate into mailroom, courier, and surgical supply assignments when required. Participate in departmental projects and committees. Qualifications: Completion of required competency assessments. Knowledge of inventory systems and safe material handling practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (required for driving assignments). Physical & Environmental Requirements: Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. following safe handling guidelines. Ability to adapt to interruptions and emergency situations while maintaining composure. Exposure to biological and chemical hazards; adherence to PPE and safety protocols is mandatory.
