Job Description:

As an operations supervisor at our Wegmans Warehouse, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks and executing daily warehouse operations. You will oversee a team of employees in various roles who are responsible for receiving vendor products and picking orders that will be delivered to our stores. What You'll Do

Coordinate tasks and execute plans to meet productivity standardsMaintain accurate inventory counts and communicate productivity status to teamHold employees accountable for performance through clear expectations of duties and resultsEnsure cold chain and food safety initiatives are followed, keep food fresh and ensure the highest quality product reaches our storesIdentify ways to improve operations including reducing expenses, managing inventory, and increasing efficiency and productivityMeet the established goals for productivity by making sure that individual and departmental tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently

Required Qualifications

2 or more years of previous experience leading a teamComputer skills

Preferred Qualifications

Previous distribution center/warehouse experience
