Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support Distribution Underground Conversion projects. This role involves providing direction and oversight for the project team and stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle, including scoping, initiation, planning, design, permit and easement acquisition, construction, and project close-out activities. The Project Manager will lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring successful execution and results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes.
Provide project management oversight and direction throughout the project lifecycle.Lead and manage activities for multiple projects, ensuring successful execution.Identify problems and solutions, collaborating to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables.Utilize project controls for budget and schedule management, forecasting, and performance monitoring.Resolve issues and ensure task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts.Understand and apply project management core concepts.
Qualifications
Proven project management experience in electric utility, preconstruction, and underground distribution conversions.Proficiency in design or engineering.High voltage project management expertise.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.At least 5 years of project management experience.Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Projects, Teams, SAP, and Primavera P6.Preferred experience in environmental permitting, utility, and construction management.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.Work Environment
The position requires 1-2 days per week on-site at the southern California utility client office. Our Client has been providing high-quality engineering and design services since 1985, including power system engineering, utility system design, electric system hardening, and electric vehicle charging stations. We serve diverse projects in military, commercial, industrial, educational, medical, and municipal facilities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Santa Ana, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
