Job Description
Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., (ACT) is a global Fortune 200 company. The India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre (F&L GCC) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Fuels & Logistics Team, and the Fuel Distribution Planner will be a key player on this team that will help oversee the stock movements across the supply chain network and grow F&L globally at ACT.
The hired candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Technology, Business Units and Support functions.
About the role
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock cover at each location, ensuring minimum distribution costs, liaising with internal stakeholders across the supply chain lifecycle, to execute necessary changes & communicate effectively to internal key stakeholders and support business needs. Additionally, the incumbent will have to be flexible to work in shifts.
Roles & Responsibilities
Fuel Distribution Planning
Ensure precise, cost-effective fuel supply planning and lowest unit cost delivered for the trucks planned.Planning indicator summarization, analyses, and reporting.Fulfil operational goals and objectives to achieve optimal fleet planning metrics (HSE, Load size, drop size, productivity, P&L (in house) etc)Liaise with Supply or sourcing, operations, BU fuel team and execute on actions to always ensure efficient value chain.Handle calls and address operational issues during shift.Liaison with other units in the company to gain planning improvements.Support improvement projects or new systems implementations as needed.Pro-active approach to suggest solutions to customer complaints.Operational Excellence
Monitor activities within fuel stations to ensure sufficient inventory levels.Ensure ownership of HSSE targets & compliance within distribution together with operations managersEnsuring efficient fleet planning performance metrics (Drop size, load size, productivity etc.)Stakeholder Management
Proactively recommend multiple approaches along with their pros & cons to the business stakeholders and support making the right decisionsCollaborate closely with colleagues inside and outside Global Fuels and Circle K, to drive business results*24*7 Operations, shift work is required to cover at all times of the operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalentStrong mathematical and analytics skills evident in education.Relevant Experience
2-4 years minimum relevant experience from logistics and operations planning.Fluency in English, both written and oralBehavioural Skills
