Distribution Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for Tech roles. These positions involve maintaining and repairing material-handling equipment and ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. Responsibilities + Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs on material-handling and other Distribution Center equipment. + Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain machinery according to manufacturer's recommendations. + Clear jams and remove foreign materials to maintain equipment efficiency. + Conduct general building maintenance, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, and plumbing repairs. + Prioritize and coordinate work assignments to ensure timely completion of critical tasks. + Mentor and train technicians, establishing objectives and communicating good maintenance practices. + Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-tech automated equipment. + Maintain a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues. Essential Skills + At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a facility, United States Armed Forces, distribution, or manufacturing environment, or an Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology with 3 years of experience. + Experience with industrial electricity including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices, and photo sensors. + Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic principles, uploading and downloading PLCs, System Control Software (SCSs), and scanners. + Experience with electronics such as photo sensors, remote I/O modules, servo drives, variable frequency drives, and scanning systems. + Willingness to climb to the 100-foot level for repairs and lift parts and tools weighing up to 50 pounds. + Ability to perform tasks involving repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, and walking. + Experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. + Direct, indirect, or cross-functional team leadership experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + General Tech positions require an Associate’s Degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology or at least 2 years of maintenance experience. + Knowledge of industrial electric systems, hydraulics, mechanical maintenance, and HVAC repair. + Skills in preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and understanding of schematics and blueprints. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WOODLAND, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $47.00/hr.
