Distribution Field Technician

(Entry Level)

We’re

hiring an entry‑level Field Technician(s) to work outdoors inspecting and

documenting electrical distribution equipment and utility poles. No utility

experience needed—we provide full training. This is a great opportunity for

What You’ll Do

Inspect overhead and underground utility equipmentCollect and record field data using tablets, laptops, and GPSTake measurements and document equipment on utility polesAssist with basic field tasks and simple work ordersWork outdoors in all weather conditions

High School Diploma/GEDReliable, trainable, and comfortable working outsideBasic computer skillsGood communication and teamworkInterest in long‑term utility industry work

Work Schedule

Report

to the Grand Rapids office daily, upon arrival, the technician will be

assigned to a Team Lead who will drive them to the job site location for the

day in a company truck. Most work locations are within an hour of the office.

Start time is based on work site location for the day. Usual start time is

between 7am - 8am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
