We are seeking a skilled Distribution Field Technician to join our Power Distribution Engineering team, a vital part of our expanding Power Sector. This role involves inspecting power distribution poles and assisting with various tasks related to overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment.Compile field data and prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports for distribution equipment.Provide assistance with storm damage assessments to overhead and underground distribution structures and equipment for both in-state and out-of-state locations.Essential SkillsAbility to work outdoors and handle varying weather conditions.Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and proficiency in using a tablet, smartphone, or computer.General understanding of the engineering or construction industry.Strong communication skills.Strong work ethic and drive to excel.Work EnvironmentThis position requires 100% travel, primarily within the southern region, including Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, with potential travel outside the region 10% of the time. Typical travel schedules are from Sunday to Friday, with out-of-region travel scheduled from Tuesday to Tuesday (8 days on, 6 days off). The role involves working outdoors and requires proximity to our Dallas office. Benefits include the ability to earn a per diem of $35/day for food, reimbursement of all hotel expenses, and use of a company vehicle.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
