About the Position:

The Distribution Development Representative (DDR) is within the newly formed Distribution Development team within the Distribution Services Division (DSD) of Caterpillar. DSD are responsible for ensuring Caterpillar have industry-best distribution network (our dealers) and that they have best-in-class capabilities to support our customers, solving their toughest challenges. We do that through elevating dealer performance and strengthening their differentiated dealer capabilities.

As part of our Enterprise Strategy, Distribution Development teams were formed to accelerate the execution of the above and deliver business growth. As a Distribution Development Representative, you will lead projects of various complexity and initiatives in the ASEAN region to deliver business growth and elevate differentiated dealer capabilities.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Leading projects to strengthen dealer capabilities and performance, ensuring alignment with metrics and business outcomes

Leading differentiated dealer capabilities overall governance

Supporting Distribution Directors for segment growth council reviews

Leading regional business reviews with robust root cause corrective actions when needed

You will be expected to develop strong collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders across multiple business units internally within Caterpillar and similarly with respective dealer management or personnel.

A good understanding of dealer operations across multiple functions would be advantageous, in addition to having a strong grasp of customer behaviours in different industries and segments. You must be fast-learner and be confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced and fluid environment. As senior representatives, you are expected to provide coaching to more junior representatives from time to time.

Additional Info: ​

This position will require up to 50% travel.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
