The mission of the Emerging Technology team is to deliver breakthrough capabilities that save customers time and money and enable associates and partners to serve and delight customers anytime, quickly, anywhere. We are a team of technologists at the forefront of the brighter future who build digital assistant and platform capabilities for Conversational AI, Immersive Experiences and other types of Emerging Content.


We are looking for a Distinguished Technical Program Manager to lead programs that will build and scale our technology platform to deliver our mission. As a Distinguished Technical Program Manager, you will be the owner and driver of several complex programs, forming a portfolio of efforts to meet the business goals that support the strategic vision.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you…

Create the program structure and shared alignment with the program team across Walmart on vision, business goals, program, and secure cross-functional teams dependencies’ commitment.

Lead executive committee meetings with key stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues

Provide on-going visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) to all stakeholders.

Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent program teams from delivering on program outcomes.

Manage new and existing technologies integration

Create a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, speed, innovation, and learning.

Be a thought leader who can help accelerate the capabilities delivery and challenge others to change.

Have 15+ Years of Program Management Experience leading complex SaaS platforms

Possess strong experience with Enterprise Agile Program Management

Demonstrate ability to build strong x-functional relationships

Have exceptional and concise verbal and written communications skills

Are skilled in Data-driven, objective analysis and decision making

Have the ability to manage large, complex programs in an Agile environment

Are comfortable presenting to and persuading multiple stakeholders from front line associates to business and Global Technology Executives in a fast paced, growing environment

Have Demonstrated ability to drive Clarity and Structure from Ambiguity

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or can demonstrate you should be the teacher

The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00-$338,000.00
