You will jump in and help design and architect systems that drive commerce around the world. You will solve complex technical challenges such as integrating multiple data systems via multiple protocols, implementing solutions that can provide real-time decisions for millions of our customers, and help migrating to public cloud. Your knowledge of databases, systems, API design, networking, security, and platforms will allow you to translate business requirements into live designs that will serve our customers around the world.
You will use a lot of knowledge, negotiation with your partners, proof of concepts and some "magic”. You will need customer focus, obsession on great execution, and a data-driven approach to provide the best architectural designs.
What You will DoDesign technical architecture solutions that span multiple commerce platform and include integration with multiple systems.Design the right interfaces and technologies to make solutions accessible by multiple teams.Focus on the end customer experience while making sure your designs are resilient.Provide technical leadership to the engineering teamsBuild partnerships with cross-discipline team members.Analyze current solution designs to optimize and provide design improvements to handle the growth of the business.Coordinate with the business teams to identify future needs and requirementsMentor teams to define design and development standards, engineering practices and incidents management.Leverage business and domain acumen to interpret and translate business requirements to architecture/technology plans.Who You AreYou are an architect with experience working in commerce and eCommerce products.You are customer focused and understand the architectural fundamentals for cloud-native solutions, preferably in Azure or GCP.You have a passion for large and complex platforms and how to optimize your customers’ experience.A technical mindset with great attention to detail.You understand how to use modern development methodologies.Minimum Qualifications10+ years experience in software development.5+ years as a technical architect.Experience interacting with your business and product partners to gather the right requirements.Demonstrated experience in delivering software using Agile methodologies.Effective communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred Qualifications
