Job Description:

This position provides customer service to internal and external customers. This role will enter data for order processing, document scanning, shipment routing, and others. This position solves problems and maintains ongoing professional relationships with customers. 

 

Job Title: Administrative Assistant III 

Job Type: Part-Time / Permanent / On-site

Workdays:

Sunday to Thursday (must be able to work 5 days of the week)

Shift hours: 8.00 PM to 1.00 AM (must be able to work a minimum of 25 hrs. per week)

or

Saturday to Wednesday (must be able to work 5 days of the week)

Shift hours: 8.00 AM to 1.00 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 25 hrs. per week)

Shift Duration: 5 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time on Sunday)   

Work Location: 12424 DIXIE ROAD CALEDON, ON L7C 2L7 

Hourly Wage: $17.75 per hour

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties 

Completes and provides various reports throughout the day.

Dispatching of drivers to various customer locations.

Answering calls from both internal and external customers.

Both face to face and over the phone customer service.

Data entry management.

Working with internal applications.

Requirements 

1 year of previous dispatcher experience with LTL and FTL – Required​

1 year of previous logistics or related field experience – Required

Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office - Required

Excellent verbal and written English (proficiency) communication skills – Required  

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent – Preferred 

Ability to work with minimal supervision 

This position requires complex problem solving skills, ability to work under high pressure situations with time sensitive cargo.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
