Job Description
The dispatcher is the primary control position responsible for managing all customer field deliveries and returns. This role involves organizing daily shipping activities using approved freight carriers and ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documents before sending them to accounts receivable. The dispatcher will provide detailed daily schedules to the Shipping Supervisor concerning outbound customer loads and work closely with field superintendents to schedule deliveries and returns.
Responsibilities
+ Organize daily shipping activities using approved freight carriers.
+ Gather and reconcile all shipping documents for accuracy.
+ Provide detailed daily schedules to the Shipping Supervisor for outbound customer loads.
+ Collaborate with field superintendents to schedule deliveries and returns.
+ Generate pick lists for staging.
+ Dispatch the MPP team.
+ Perform data entry, logistics, administrative support, and customer service dispatch functions.
Essential Skills
+ Diploma required.
+ 2-3+ years of dispatch experience, specifically within the transportation industry.
+ Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
+ Experience with the TITAN system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a $30M shipping revenue per year organization preferred.
Work Environment
This position operates 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Bonuses are paid out based on attendance, and the work environment is casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bondurant, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
