Our client, in the Plattsburgh area is seeking a Dispatcher  to join their team. As a Dispatcher you will work alone and as a team member. The ideal candidate will have excellent attendance, extremely reliable, and excellent work ethic skills which will align successfully with in the company.

Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: Plattsburgh NY
Pay: $23 to $$26/hr

What’s the Job?

Day shift  7am-330pm and every 3rd Saturday as needed (Perm Direct Hire) Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction. Assigns routes and service to appropriate drivers throughout the day and for the next day Handles incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales department and manages requests for all pick-up or delivery on any container movement within the area. Initiates communication / Updates to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolves pick-up and other issues delaying the service.
What’s Needed? Dispatch Experience Ability to work as a team member in a collaborative environment High School Diploma or GED Drug Test required
