Our client, in the Plattsburgh area is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. As a Dispatcher you will work alone and as a team member. The ideal candidate will have excellent attendance, extremely reliable, and excellent work ethic skills which will align successfully with in the company. Job Title: Dispatcher Location: Plattsburgh NY Pay: $23 to $$26/hr What’s the Job? + Day shift 7am-330pm and every 3 rd Saturday as needed (Perm Direct Hire) + Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction. + Assigns routes and service to appropriate drivers throughout the day and for the next day + Handles incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales department and manages requests for all pick-up or delivery on any container movement within the area. + Initiates communication / Updates to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolves pick-up and other issues delaying the service.
