I. Job Summary Supervises daily dispatch operations and tracking. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Oversees daily activities of the dispatch department, ensuring productivity and quality goals are met. + Coordinates resolution of service orders and customer service issues. + Manages live dispatch as well as GPS and MAS data input. + Supervises processing of all paperwork, including billing backlog. + Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures and develops and implements safety briefings. + Coordinates container tracking, container placement, and driver safety. + Compiles and analyzes maintenance reports. + Coordinates schedules and monitors performance of staff, and arranges for training as needed. + Oversees personnel needs of the department including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications + High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited) + 4 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirements) + Previous dispatching and driver management and general supervisory experience B. Preferred Qualifications IV. This position is remote but would require some office visits a few times per year. The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $68,420 - $98,417. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 10% AIP bonus. V.
