**Job Description:** **This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered** **Location: Dallas, TX** **Overall Purpose** This role combines operational leadership as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of the Technology and Cloud Supply Chain organization with responsibility for enabling and driving the success of the Center of Excellence (CoE) and supporting technical sourcing teams. The Director will empower technical sourcing teams by: + Establishing best-in-class practices + Providing strategic guidance + Driving initiatives across complex categories such as: + Cloud (on-premise, hybrid, and third-party) + Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning software + Radio Access Networks + Automation + SaaS & PaaS + Disaggregated network solutions + Data analytics + Direct chip supplier relationships **Key areas of focus include:** + Process improvement + Benchmarking + Deal negotiation reviews + Tracking deal success over time This ensures sourcing teams have the tools, data, and insights needed to deliver measurable savings and align with organizational goals. In addition to leading the CoE, the Director will act as a key partner to the Vice President by: + Managing organizational priorities + Business planning + Resource allocation + Overseeing performance tracking, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives These efforts will optimize operations and align the organization with its long-term strategic vision. This position requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, operational execution, and transformational leadership to ensure the organization operates with efficiency, agility, and innovation. **Education** + Preferred: Master’s degree in business or a related field **Experience** + Typically requires at least ten years of experience + Supervisory experience required **Supervisory-** Yes **Compensation** Our Director-Technical Sourcing earns between $174,100 - $261,100 USD annually.
