Job Summary:

Provides direction for operational and technical aspects for the Surgical Services department, and other applicable procedural areas. Responsible for budget preparation, long range planning, quality activities, performance improvement and regulatory compliance.

Leading a team of nearly 600 personnel, the Director of Surgical Services is responsible for Perioperative and Surgical teams on the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Key Position Details:

This is a full-time onsite position reporting to Abbott Northwestern Hospital with occasional weekend rotations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing requiredMaster's degree in nursing, health care administration, business administration, or related field required5+ years in patient care experience required5+ years progressive leadership experience within the Acute Hospital setting requiredProcedural experience requiredSurgical Services Leadership experience strongly preferredLicensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required

Pay Range

Pay Range: $74.33 to $102.85 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
