Essential Functions

Provides high quality patient care. Uses strategic, analytical, and critical thinking by applying them to priorities of: Growth, Value, and Affordability. Coordinates and integrates services within the service line and across the continuum. Oversees operations of the department(s). Counsels team members using HR management skills and involves HR consultants as needed. Promotes a learning environment growing diverse talent and driving clinical advances through education and research. Provides leadership through change and challenges. Promotes diversity in thought and behavior and models progressive and creative approaches to interpersonal and motivational challenges. Oversees the clinical education program for rehabilitation students who affiliate within the department/facility. Develops and establishes policies and procedures for rehabilitation services to ensure appropriate provision of patient care. Works in conjunction with Marketing and Business Development team members to create and implements plans for growth, market and service development, including referrals and/or admissions. Engages in the evaluation and analysis of data when driving down to root causes. Perform all duties of licensed therapist as necessary.

Physical Requirements
Works in both an office and a fast-paced clinical environment. Job can require long periods of sitting, standing, and reaching. Lifting documents, supplies, or equipment, will be required to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, and laterally transfer up to 100 lbs rarely. Stooping, twisting, climbing, bending, squatting, crawling, kneeling, reaching overhead, and demonstrating exercises and sports specific activities to patients is occasionally necessary.



Education, Experience and Certifications

Licensed in the state of applicable state to practice Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy required. Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration preferred. 3 years experience required and 1 year supervisory experience required. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, planning skills, and professionalism. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required if providing direct patient care.
