Research and analyze historical information to create strategies and tactics with main goal to increase sales and marginIdentify, quantify, and execute regular price changes that will achieve and exceed annual benefit targetsManage to clearance markdown budgetsPartner with Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and Stores to execute regular and clearance markdownsEnsure price integrity of regular pricing with regards to brand/private brand, pack size, color, key attributes, etc.Manage competitive shop process and resourcesIdentify and maintain key item and EDV programs to Ensure MIK is positioned appropriately in the competitive market placeManage Pricing Manager Resources
Lead teams to hit and exceed financial goalsDevelop a strong sense of team / esprit de coreHelp pricing managers build strong relationships based on trustHelp pricing managers leverage analyses that are transparent and understandable to all roles in the organizationOversee pricing manager day to day activitiesSupport pricing managers with difficult analyses or discussionsHelp manage individual development plans for each resourceLead successful implementation of strategic pricing projects
Identify and implement initiatives that will make existing processes more efficientIdentify and implement initiatives that will identify new programs that will deliver a better return on ‘discount spend’Identify and implement processes that should be stopped, outsourced, or automatedManage offshore resource teamOther duties as assigned
Minimum Education
MBA or Master’s degree in Quantitative field, such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or Operations ResearchMinimum Type of experience the job requires
4-6 years in Business; complex analytical experience is the priorityManager/Sr Analyst role in an analytical functionExperience developing a department and process from the ground upPreferred Type of experience the job requires
Retail or consumer products experience a plusApplicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
