Director or Manager, Growth – Lifestyle, Asia Pacific
**Description:** Based in the Bangkok Hyatt Lifestyle Hub and reporting to the Regional Vice President, Growth – Lifestyle, Asia Pacific, the Director or Manager, Growth – Lifestyle plays a critical role in expanding Hyatt’s lifestyle brand footprint across the region by proactively sourcing, cultivating, and negotiating lifestyle brand development opportunities. The role focuses on identifying and negotiating independently with support from RVP Growth Lifestyle, Head of Development or Growth President ASPAC in advancing opportunities across Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio, including The Standard, The StandardX, Andaz, Thompson, and JdV by Hyatt. The position requires a commercially minded, brand-savvy, and collaborative professional who can independently drive opportunities while working seamlessly with development colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support long-term growth across Asia Pacific. Responsibilities: • Proactively originate, identify, and advance new hotel development and reflagging opportunities across management, franchise, and branded residence models in line with Hyatt’s lifestyle growth strategy. • Build, maintain, and leverage a strong regional network of owners, developers, investors, advisors, consultants, and industry partners to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified development leads. • Conduct ongoing market research and intelligence gathering to identify high-potential cities, sites, existing hotels, and ownership groups aligned with Hyatt’s lifestyle brand strategy. • Act as a persuasive and articulate brand ambassador, clearly communicating the positioning, value proposition, and commercial rationale of Hyatt’s lifestyle brands to prospective owners and partners. • Contribute to the development and refinement of high-quality development presentations, proposals, and brand materials tailored to specific owners and opportunities. • Prepare internal approval papers, presentations, and reporting materials in collaboration with senior leadership. • Support negotiations and contract documentation in close collaboration with internal Hyatt stakeholders, while managing owner relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle through to successful execution and signing. • Maintain accurate and timely updates in Salesforce and other reporting tools, and provide hands-on support to Hyatt colleagues on ad-hoc tasks related to development activities, ensuring smooth execution, timely follow-ups, and high professional standards. • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values (included in all job descriptions). • The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary (included in all job descriptions). **Qualifications:** Experience • 5 years of experience within hotel management companies, real estate, or hospitality development, with exposure to development activities, owner engagement, and commercial negotiations. Education • A university degree in Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, or a related discipline. Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job • Advanced working proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word. • Familiarity with Salesforce and AI-enabled productivity tools to support research, analysis, and reporting is an advantage.
