As the Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within Our Consumer & Community Banking unit, you will lead a technical area and promote impact across teams, technologies, and projects within various departments. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to oversee multiple complex projects and initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the primary decision maker for your teams and act as a catalyst for innovation and solution delivery

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition,  5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertiseStrategic Leadership: Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for enterprise application development, ensuring alignment with business goals and user experience priorities.Hands on product development and engineering leadership experience building and scaling enterprise application focused on user experience. Expertise in domain driven design, development, and scaling of complex, cloud-native applications using modern frameworks and technologies such as Java Full Stack, React, micro front end architectures, Kafka, and AWS.Experience enhancing developer efficiency with AI-driven tools and practiceExperience developing and leading cross-functional teams of technologistsExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExperience leading a product as a Technology OwnerPractical cloud native experienceExpertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
