The Director of Revenue is responsible for leading the organization’s revenue management strategy to maximize financial performance. This role oversees forecasting, pricing, demand analysis, sales optimization, and revenue reporting across all business units. The Director partners closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure strategic alignment and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Optimization
- Develop and implement multi‑channel revenue strategies aligned with company goals.
- Create and maintain pricing strategies, promotional frameworks, and discounting guidelines.
- Analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and industry benchmarks to identify revenue opportunities.
- Lead yield management, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting efforts.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Oversee revenue forecasts, budgeting models, and long‑range financial projections.
- Monitor key revenue KPIs.
- Deliver executive‑level reporting and insights to leadership.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop go‑to‑market plans and pricing models.
- Collaborate with Operations to align supply, product availability, and capacity planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the revenue management team.
Systems & Tools
- Oversee revenue management systems, CRM tools, BI dashboards, and analytics platforms.
- Introduce new tools and processes that increase forecasting accuracy and revenue efficiency.
Strategic Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of revenue initiatives and adjust strategies.
- Identify new revenue streams, upsell opportunities, and customer segmentation strategies.
- Ensure revenue processes support compliance and financial accuracy.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in revenue management or similar.
- Proven success leading high‑performing revenue teams.
