Director of Quality Engineering

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a Director of Quality Engineering to join their team. As a Director of Quality Engineering, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Director of Quality Engineering
**Location: Atlanta, GA**
**Pay Range:** 75.00-90.00/hr
**Shift:** Hybrid (2 days Remote per Week) 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead and develop a high-performing Quality Engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
+ Design and implement comprehensive quality systems, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards
+ Monitor and analyze complex quality metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvements
+ Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to embed quality into all stages of product development
+ Apply lean principles, root cause analysis, and proactive problem-solving to enhance processes and reduce defects
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership roles
+ Proven expertise in quality methodologies such as DOE, FMEA, SPC
+ Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus
+ Experience leading teams and implementing strategic quality initiatives
+ Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100, IATF)
