VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the administration of nursing services in the Skilled Nursing Facility. Directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering customer care. Interprets facility policies and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance, as well as analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services rendered to improve quality of customer care and to better utilize staff time and abilities. Also ensures the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel.

 

Required Skills:

Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.Minimum three (3) years of experience in medical-surgical and/or SNF nursing required.Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.Three (3) years experience in an administrative position within a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.Experience and knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management, workflow planning and staff development.Ability to manage the practice of nursing within the mission of the facility.Demonstrated ability to participate in recruitment and hire of qualified staff.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
