Director of Myeloma Program - #Faculty

The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center / Department of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is seeking applicants for the Director of the Myeloma Program. The successful applicant will be charged with leading the growth and expansion of a multidisciplinary group. The Director of the Myeloma Program will have opportunities for program building, mentorship, and scholarship, by providing leadership to the faculty focused on patient care and research not only in myeloma but more broadly within the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and BMT. The Director of the Myeloma Program will have unique abilities to interact with ground breaking researchers at Johns Hopkins.
The ideal applicant to this position will be an established clinical or translational investigator. The successful candidate should have experience in collaborative research, education, and program building. Research interests could include basic and/or clinical research, in any area (including small molecules, immunotherapies, cellular therapies and beyond) related to the treatment of myeloma.
The Myeloma program currently includes 5 faculty members, who see 550 new patients each year.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
Licensure: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Oncology.
Active medical license in the State of Maryland.
Salary: $210,000-$247,000 per year

The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Oncology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in the Department of Oncology incentive compensation programs.
