The Director of Medical Education, Cardiovascular and Interventional Solutions (CVIS) will lead the development and execution of national education strategies for healthcare professionals, fellows, medical device representatives, and internal teams that include sales and clinicals. Furthermore, to lead the development and execution of world-class education programs for healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal teams working in Structural and Open Heart procedures performed in the Cath Lab, EP Lab, CVOR, and Hybrid Lab care areas. This role is critical to ensuring safe, effective adoption of our cardiovascular procedural guidance solutions nationally and driving clinical excellence through innovative learning strategies.
This role ensures consistent, high-quality training aligned with AST compliance standards and company objectives. Develop and deploy a National CVIS education strategy that can be leveraged regionally. This role collaborates closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Luminary Leaders, Commercial teams and Clinical Education and Leadership teams. The Director of Medical Education owns the education strategy and reporting related to activities, events, workshops, training, and ROI on a consistent basis to Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS), Image Guided Solution (IGS), and CVIS leadership.

Responsibilities
Define and implement national education strategy for all product/technologies across the IGS and CVUS portfolio used in Structural and Open Heart proceduresAlign educational programs with business goals and compliance requirements.Design curricula for healthcare professionals, fellows, device companies, distributors, and internal staff.Oversee creation of workshops and certification programs.Collaborate with national and regional teams to adapt programs for large congresses and associations as well as local market needs and objectives.Develop and manage scheduling/tracking mechanisms for events and workshops including: equipment/tool management, clinical support arrangement, and logistics.Direct and Indirect oversite of event/workshop overall successPartner with Marketing, Product, and Clinical & Commercial teams for content accuracy.Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and professional societies.Track program effectiveness using KPIs (e.g., adoption rates, learner satisfaction).Report outcomes to leadership teams.Manage Med Ed budget effectively and with a strong fiscal responsibility & accountability.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred5+ years of medtech education experience, ultrasound or healthcare technology. This includes direct leadership and management of a team experience. 3+ Experience with diagnostic and intraprocedural imaging technology.Demonstrated success launching and marketing complex technology productsAbility to travel 60% of the time (2-3 Overnights)Desired Characteristics
ARDMS, CCI Registry in EchocardiographyMedtech education experience, preferably in medical devices within the interventional cardiology space. 10+ years of experience within the Structural Heart space, providing clinical guidance or oversite during proceduresDeep understanding of Structural Heart preplanning software and technologies specific to device and procedure type.Deep understanding of intraprocedural fusion technologies available on the market as well as their usefulness and potential impact on patient care.Knowledge & Skills

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
