We're seeking a Director of Implementation and Change Management (Registered Nurse / RN). This individual is a key member of the CCDI leadership team and is accountable for deployment of nursing care model and other innovations achieved through professional governance. Leveraging evidence-based change management and implementation science strategies, the Director enables successful integration of innovative nursing practices and robust professional governance structures, aiming to optimize patient outcomes, enhance nursing practice, and foster sustainable organizational improvement. Primary duties and responsibilities:

 

Change Management and Implementation Strategy:

1. Design, lead, and execute strategic change initiatives utilizing implementation science methodologies to embed innovations in nursing practice.

2. Apply structured change management processes and tools to support adoption and sustainability of innovative practices.

 

Leadership and Project Oversight:

1. Direct comprehensive project planning and implementation efforts, ensuring clarity in objectives, alignment of stakeholders, and timely achievement of measurable outcomes.

2. Anticipate and address potential barriers to implementation, adapting strategies proactively based on ongoing evaluation.

 

Professional Governance Integration:

1. Implement and sustain EHC professional governance frameworks that promote shared decision-making, nurse empowerment, and clinical accountability.

2. Foster nursing engagement and active participation at all organizational levels through structured governance activities.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

1. Collaborate closely with EHC nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and external experts to support effective implementation of new nursing practices.

2. Facilitate clear, consistent, and transparent communication strategies to manage change successfully across diverse teams.

 

Evaluation, Measurement, and Reporting:

1. Develop and apply rigorous metrics aligned with implementation science principles to evaluate effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of change initiatives.

2. Regularly report to executive leadership and stakeholders on implementation progress, challenges, and continuous improvement recommendations.

 

Education, Training, and Capacity Building:

1. Provide training and resources on implementation science and change management methodologies tailored to nursing leadership and clinical staff.

2. Mentor and coach nursing teams to enhance organizational capacity for sustained change.

 

Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required.

 

Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

1. Masters degree in nursing (MSN) or related area required

2. Nursing leadership experience focused on system level initiatives within healthcare setting

3. A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing

4. Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):

Knowledge and practical application of implementation science. Demonstrated expertise in leading successful change initiatives within complex healthcare environments. Superior communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills. Analytical skills for evaluating and adjusting strategies based on measurable outcomes. Proven ability to effectively lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Doctorate (PhD or DNP) strongly preferred

2. Formal training or certification in change management and/or implementation science preferred
