The Director of Finance FQHC & Grant Compliance is responsible for effectively managing and administering all financial and business development activities for the respective organization. The Director of Finance FQHC & Grant Compliance has an in-depth knowledge of fiscal and business operations, contract negotiations, market trends, industry standards and business development. The Director effectively manages all financial activities including all reporting and budgeting by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of information from a practice management perspective. Position also coordinates all Financial Audits.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. Masters Degree in Business Administration or CPA preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: MBA or CPA preferred
EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of health care and non-profit company finance required; 3-5 years management experience required. Must demonstrate success in business office management, business development, and financial management.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires desk/computer work a majority of the time. This position requires some standing and walking and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds required.

This position reports to department leadership and supervises incumbents as assigned.
