Description We are looking for a skilled and strategic Director of Finance to lead financial operations and drive organizational growth in Columbus, Ohio. This role is pivotal in overseeing accounting processes, financial planning, and reporting to ensure the company's fiscal health. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of finance to manage teams and optimize workflows. Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of four finance team members, providing guidance and fostering growth and development. • Oversee all aspects of accounting, including month-end closing, operational accounting, and revenue cycle management. • Develop and implement annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial strategies. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning. • Monitor and project cash flow, ensuring liquidity and effective resource allocation. • Establish and maintain efficient budget processes to track and control expenditures. • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate financial performance and identify growth opportunities. • Conduct financial forecasting to anticipate future trends and prepare for potential challenges. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to best practices in financial management. Requirements • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, with a strong track record in team management. • Expertise in managing annual budgets and overseeing month-end close processes. • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis to support strategic objectives. • Solid understanding of cash flow forecasting and budget development. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders. • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
