Interim Finance Director - Remote / Local to Boston, MA A leading organization in the life sciences industry is seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide hands-on support for financial operations during a critical transition period. This role will focus on managing clinical trial accounting, accruals, and related reporting while ensuring compliance with internal processes and external requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting activities related to clinical operations and trial accrualsManage month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review financial reports and support compliance requirementsCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve accounting issuesUtilize accounting systems to maintain accurate records and streamline processes

Qualifications

10+ years of accounting experience, including leadership rolesPrior experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry requiredProficiency with NetSuite and clinical accounting platforms (Auxilius or similar)
