The ideal candidate will have experience with a global digital transformation services company in the telecom industry and represent a diverse array of solutions including business strategy, experience design, software engineering, automation, and operations. This role supports critical business strategies by driving and managing the overall execution and delivery of technical deliverables.  You will lead multiple projects and oversee various onshore/offshore development teams to ensure project specifications are met. Identifies new technology solutions and works closely with internal business partners to forecast future needs and develop effective strategies to meet business objectives.

This role is accountable for the general management financial performance activities of assigned portfolio including personnel.

This role to be located near client headquarters (Frisco, Texas area).

Basic Functions

You will be responsible for service delivery of assigned strategic clients to deliver target Key Performance Indicators (KPI).You will provide general and program management, technical leadership, execution oversight and governance in planning, solution engineering, executing, and managing the software engineering team supporting your assigned clients.This person negotiates and interfaces with internal and external clients. You will effectively communicate client information with appropriate verbal, written and business acumen to all levels of management.This role is responsible for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and preparing appropriate action and reports.The Director of Delivery will collaborate and work with senior management and internal teams across the organization including Sales, Global Resources, HR, Accounting, Project Management, Centers of Excellence, etc.This role needs a strong team player who understands how to work effectively in a large, fast paced, evolving organization; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; work with teams located across multiple geography and time zones; mentor teams and ensure the technical quality of project deliverables.The beneficiary will leverage principles and practices of IT Technical Architecture and knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of small to large-scale, multi-processing computer systems; advance project management tools and techniques; principles and practices of applications programming; principles and practices of software troubleshooting; operational characteristics of a variety of computer platforms, networks, software applications, and operating systems; advance knowledge of methods and techniques used in the installation, trouble shooting, and maintenance of information systems; and principles and procedures of quality assurance and security related to computer applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strong program management, technical leadership, and management of engineering execution: Execution of our customer's digital transformation through the development and design of products/features/software, as well as the transformation of legacy applications for the cloud realized with modern software engineering principles delivered in product/features centric delivery pods.

Understanding the requirements and assist in creating a design solution working with Centers of Excellence (COE) suitable to the customer environment.Understand the system dependencies and ensure the solution is suitable for the existing environment.Ensure our solution adheres to the customer approved tools and technologies.

Focus on customer outcomes, modernize experiences, and collaborate with Concentrix Service Lines.  You will be responsible for product/features roadmap planning, functional and non-functional requirements, security and performance, and release planning in adherence to KPIs.

Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders.Risk mitigation plan for potential issues between systems and client specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations.

Ensure business continuity, enterprise risk factors and regulatory requirements are integrated in the design and operation IT Systems.Work with our Engineering, COE (DevOps, Automation, RPA, Analytics, Big-Data, AI), and our domain teams to establish/accelerate agile processes, frameworks, and tools to improve velocity, quality, and increased productivity with key focus on innovation and excellence in execution.Be a hands-on leader. Conduct and participate in review code, review design docs, mentoring leads.Operate with efficiency. Manage development costs to plan; strike the right balance between contract and full-time labor; constantly strive to maintain financial performance as required or directed for assigned portfolio.Coordination with Concentrix PMO and Process Leadership to develop appropriate client delivery process, and oversight.Personnel management: Act as a talent magnet to attract, retain and develop a high-performance team that is focused on continuous learning and improvement.

Programming & Development:

Mobile Technologies, Web Development, JavaScript, Microservices, API Models (Swagger, OpenAPI), Design Patterns.

Telecom & Enterprise Systems:

OSS/BSS platforms experienceMessaging and event streaming with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ.Distributed databases: Cassandra, MongoDB.Telecom-grade integrations for provisioning, charging, and customer care systems.

Cloud, DevOps & Automation:

Cloud platforms Experience.CI/CD & pipeline automation: 

AI, Analytics & Automation:

Generative AI integration for knowledge assistants and Copilot adoption.

The base salary range for this position is $145,000- $176,000, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
