Director of Contract Commercial Management
Accountabilities:1. Lead the UK’s in-life Commercial management strategy across live contracts and portfolios2. Act as a senior commercial advisor to Managing Directors and Account Directors, with MDs retaining ownership or client relationships and overall ‘deal’ accountable owners3. Own and lead complex commercial negotiations including variations, extensions, scope changes, pricing trade-offs and dispute resolution4. Set commercial standards, playbooks and parameters within which Business Finance may lead low complexity changes5. Partner closely with Business Finance to ensure negotiations are economically sound and work with Legal to translate agreed commercial positions into compliant contract amendments 6. Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risk across the contract lifecycle7. Build and lead a high performing commercial management team whilst strengthening commercial governance, capability and maturity across the organisation.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:• Proven track record of senior-level commercial management within large, complex service-delivery contracts (preferably public sector or regulated environments)• Extensive experience in commercial negotiation, contract management, and risk management across multi-million-pound portfolios• Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen, able to interpret and influence financial outcomes• Demonstrable experience leading and developing high-performing commercial teams• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging at senior and executive levels• Degree-qualified (law, finance, business, or related discipline) and/or recognised commercial or legal qualification desirable (e.g., IACCM, CIPS, legal background)
Desirable:• Experience in public sector or outsourced services organisations

Travel Requirements: UK wide as required.
