We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial analytics and reporting for a diverse real estate portfolio, including multifamily and commercial properties. This role leverages tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Yardi to deliver strategic insights and drive performance across markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial reporting and analytics using Power BI, Yardi, and other tools.Summarize monthly financial performance by market and property.Track quarterly performance against benchmarks and requirements.Forecast portfolio performance and advise on capital structure, acquisitions/dispositions, and value-add strategies.Conduct risk analyses and calculate property-level investment returns.Monitor market trends and communicate opportunities to senior leadership.Collaborate with COO, VPs, Regional Managers, and Joint Venture Partners to align on business plans.Analyze field staff trends and property-level personnel costs.Drive the annual budget process, including initial property budget drafts.Identify monthly opportunities for operational and financial improvement.Partner with senior leadership to develop and train on operational procedures and policies.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.5+ years of experience in financial analysis or business analytics.Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and financial modeling.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsProven leadership experience with team guidance and motivation.Deep understanding of budgets, financial statements, and investment strategy.Technical SkillsPower BI, SQL, MS Office SuiteFinancial Reporting & Data AnalysisAccounting & Profit/Loss ManagementData Modeling & Excel DatabasesReal Estate & Property ManagementPortfolio Management & Power Query
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
