Our Fortune 500 client (One of the world's largest Beauty companies) in **El Segundo, California** is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their innovative team. **Director of Brand Content (Multiple position)** **888 N Douglas St, El Segundo, California, 90245- Hybrid role** **6+ month contract with high potential for extension** **Job Description:** The Director of Brand Content will lead the development and execution of skin better sciences US content strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging and integration across all B2B and B2C touchpoints. This role requires working in close collaboration with global (DMI) marketing teams to adapt and localize content for the US market while also creating original content tailored to specific US marketing needs and go-to-market plans. This role demands a strategic and creative leader with an understanding of the luxury beauty market, content production, team management, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for skincare and the science behind it, a strong understanding of luxury brand positioning, and an innovative approach to leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies, including generative AI. **Responsibilities:** US Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust US content strategy that aligns with the global brand direction while addressing specific US market needs and business objectives. This includes collaborating with global (DMI) marketing teams to adapt existing content and create original content for US campaigns and activations. Content Creation & Management (US Focus): Oversee the creation and management of diverse content formats tailored for the US market, including video, photography, social media content, website copy, educational materials, sales collateral, and influencer-generated content. Brand Storytelling & Messaging (US Adaptation): Adapt global brand narratives and messaging to resonate with the US target audience, ensuring consistent brand communication across all US channels while maintaining alignment with the global brand voice. Cross-Functional Collaboration (US Teams): Partner with US-based senior leadership and other departments, especially the broader marketing team, to integrate content strategies into broader US business plans and ensure alignment across the organization. This includes working closely with the marketing team to maintain the brand content calendar and ensure a synergistic and integrated approach to brand image across both consumer and professional touchpoints. This role requires the ability to effectively manage cross-functional partners, drive adherence to deadlines, and ensure seamless execution of content plans. Go-to-Market Content Activation (US Launches): Lead content development and execution for new product launches and marketing campaigns within the US, collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., e-retail, influencer marketing, and global DMI) to maximize impact and achieve project goals. Collaboration with Global (DMI) Marketing: Work closely with the global (DMI) marketing team to ensure alignment between global and US content strategies, share best practices, and leverage existing resources effectively. Adapt global content assets for the US market as needed. Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop the US content production team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Budget Management (US): Develop and manage the US content production budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing ROI within the US market. Vendor Management (US): Oversee relationships with US-based vendors, and manage external resources to support content creation and production for the US market. Innovation & Best Practices (US Market Focus): Continuously research and implement new technologies, editing techniques (video and photo), and industry best practices relevant to the US market to enhance content quality and effectiveness. Integrate generative AI tools to optimize workflows and content output. Performance Measurement & Analysis (US): Track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the US market to measure content effectiveness, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate the impact of US content strategies on business objectives. **Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 8-10+ years of experience in content production, management, social media/influencer strategy, and/or a related field, ideally within the skincare or beauty industry. Proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences. Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and messaging. Familiarity with scientific and medical terminology related to skincare is a plus. Familiarity with content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut), photo editing software, and other relevant digital tools.
