What You'll Do:
The Director of OSS is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, management, and continuous improvement of the Operations Support Systems that underpin network operations, service assurance, and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of telecom OSS architectures, coupled with strong leadership and project management skills to drive innovation, operational excellence, and alignment with business goals
What You'll Need:
Lead the OSS organization, including teams responsible for network inventory, fault management, performance monitoring, service provisioning, and workflow automation.Develop and execute the OSS strategy aligned with the overall technology and business roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, and integration with other systems (BSS, NMS, etc.).Drive transformation initiatives such as OSS modernization, cloud migration, AI/ML integration for proactive network management, and automation to improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including network engineering, IT, product management, and vendor partners to ensure seamless OSS delivery and support.Oversee OSS vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and manage budgets to optimize cost-effectiveness and technology investments.Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements within OSS platforms.Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.Provide executive leadership and reporting on OSS performance metrics, project statuses, risks, and opportunities.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to guide future OSS capabilities and competitive advantage.What You'll Bring:
15+ years of experience delivering complex, high-value technology programs in telecom, SaaS, and cloud environments. Expertise in leading global engineering teams, scaling development organizations, managing large portfolios, and executing large-scale digital transformation initiatives.Our Director-Member of Technical Staff earns between $230,000.00 - $345,000.00 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
