You have completed a BS in Engineering, Business, or a related degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields or comparable experience in lieu of degree. You have worked in a related role for at least 15 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate up and down the organization. In depth knowledge of Framatome and industry project management processes. Strong problem identification and resolution skills. Experienced in successfully managing large nuclear projects. The ability to manage the performance of a team of project managers and support staff.

 

 

Your Opportunity

This full-time role will require you to oversee a number of major projects spanning multiple product lines. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Major Projects Director in Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for ensuring the project teams follow the proper governance and procedures in executing their PM responsibilities. You will also be the single point of contact to the corporate PMO and be responsible for ensuring the Framatome Canada PM processes align with the corporate mandates. In this role you will also be responsible for the oversight and direction for Framatome Canada for the Isogen joint venture with Kinectrics. This will include day to day operations, design and construction activities for all Isogen related business. You will also interact with the Framatome Healthcare team on a regular basis. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
