Director Home Services

Position Purpose:

Lead strategic approach for driving effective processes within Services flooring segment. Analyze operational standards and process improvement initiatives to ensure consistent field execution and to drive customer conversion. Lead Ops Process team with direction and execution of strategic initiatives including project support and process improvements. Serves as consultant to field teams and merchants to drive quality field implementation and evaluating delivery excellence and capabilities of key initiatives. Responsible for oversight and direction of the roll-out and implementation of solutions related to strategic initiatives - providing leadership and strategic guidance cross-functionally to Divisional leaders and merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

10% - Communicate Effectively - Communicate effectively at all levels and ensures actions and deliverables are completed in an excellent fashion.20% - Lead Effectively - Lead direct reports. Motivate and influence leadership for collective decision making. Create a sense of belonging for associated team and lead effectively.10% - Manage Issues - Manage issues and roadblocks that arise related to area of ​​responsibility; Respond proactively to unanticipated field needs arising out of a variety of inputs; Manage action steps necessary for successful execution of both strategic projects/initiatives and process improvement.25% - Manage Operational Projects - Manage, drive, and deliver operational projects focusing on systems integrations/enhancements and/or process improvements. Subject matter expert on system and processes pertaining to the organization. Create and maintain project deliverables through planning and schedules, meeting quality of output, schedule, and budget parameters.25% - Strategic Planning - Provide direction and strategic planning for associated teams and analysts. Develop and implement changes that improve overall organizational and operational processes that create productivity and efficiency gains, simplifying the business. Is a participatory member of organizational leadership, focused on the associates and overall goals of the business.10% - Training - Provide guidance and training specific to area of ​​expertise; Assist in collaborating findings from data and making verbal/written recommendations; Demonstrate proficiency/understanding of specific processes.

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
 

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Overall management and leadership of multidimensional sales operations; relevant professional experience in Home Services (with proven ability to influence business), Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or Sales TrainingExperience in a retail environment, home improvement industry or general construction industry8+ years of relevant professional work experiencePeople management experienceProven ability to drive strategy and change management through input, delivery, and implementation of initiativesExperience adopting new technologies and applying to business applicationsExperience executing strategies for multiple locationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong business and financial acumen
