**Position Overview:**
The Director, eCommerce Operations will play a critical role in driving the adoption of digital channels across new and existing customers of AT&T. It will report directly to the Head of Digital function as a hybrid role, supporting the omnichannel strategy work as well as supporting and developing the broader digital team on their journey to becoming a best-in-class digital powerhouse.
This role will become the connective tissue between the work that is happening in the omni-channel strategy team to the broader channel operations and personalization workstreams, ensuring efficiency across the broader team. They must be a strong collaborator, as they will need to not only partner across teams within digital, but across the broader Enterprise, to deliver a fundamental shift in the way AT&T delivers for customers.
The ideal candidate is a strong strategic and creative thinker, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and turn it into action. An ‘industry innovator’ passionate about shaping the future of omni-channel customer experiences, with the ability to develop a bridge between legacy processes and next-generation digital solutions while ensuring measurable business impact.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Omni-Channel Strategy Roadmap:** Develop and oversee a detailed 3-5-year omni-channel transformation roadmap, including a workback plan with clearly defined milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
+ **Omni-Channel Program Management:** Oversee complex transformation and innovation programs and projects with responsibility for planning, governance, and delivery timelines for initiatives, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
+ **Digital Innovation Lab Management:** Oversee the organization’s digital innovation lab, managing pilot projects from concept through execution, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to incubate new ideas.
+ **Research and Vendor Management:** Conduct ongoing industry research and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring vendor accountability, alignment with transformation goals, and budget adherence.
+ **Legacy to Digital Transformation & Impact Measurement:** Lead the evolution of legacy sales channels and customer experience operations into digitally enabled models. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of transformation initiatives, providing regular updates to executive leadership with a focus on long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
+ **Industry Analysis & Thought Leadership:** Stay abreast of industry trends and best-in-class digital and omni-channel strategies; provide industry analysis and insights to inform strategic direction and workforce skill development. Serve as a strategic thought leader, identifying and driving innovative digital solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
+ **Training & Development** Assess level of eCommerce and digital knowledge across the organization to develop several levels of training courses, including a broad AT&T organization roadshow training, digital team training and individual training courses to match development plans across the team.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
+ 8+ years’ experience in transformation, omni-channel strategy, or operations leadership
+ Visionary leader with digital transformation expertise.
+ Proven project management and strategic planning skills, with experience managing complex, multi-phase initiatives. Strong influence with cross-functional alignment skills
+ Customer-first mindset and innovative approach. Expertise in innovation management, digital trends, and technology vendor management
+ Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
+ Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and deliver measurable business results
Our **Director - eCommerce Operations** earn between $191,400 - $287,200 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
