Role Overview:
The Director of Digital Growth for FirstNet will lead the end-to-end digital experience strategy to engage and grow the FirstNet user base. This role will focus on optimizing digital touchpoints to deliver a seamless, mission-critical customer journey that supports the unique needs of public safety professionals. The ideal candidate is a strategic digital growth leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing, user experience, and data-driven growth strategies in complex, high-stakes environments.
About FirstNet:
AT&T FirstNet is the nationwide public safety broadband network dedicated to America's first responders and the extended public safety community. It is a unique and dedicated network built specifically to meet the critical communication needs of firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics, 911 communicators, emergency managers, and other essential personnel who support emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital growth strategy for the FirstNet digital ecosystem, including web, mobile, and app platforms.
Own the end-to-end digital customer journey for FirstNet, ensuring it meets the unique requirements of public safety users.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, technology, and customer experience teams to drive digital initiatives that increase adoption, engagement, and retention.
Utilize data analytics and user insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize digital campaigns and experiences.
Oversee digital content strategy, UX/UI enhancements, and digital marketing integrations tailored to the FirstNet audience.
Champion a customer-centric approach with a focus on mission-critical reliability and accessibility.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital growth, user engagement, and conversion metrics, adjusting strategies to meet evolving goals.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and public safety communications needs to continuously innovate the digital experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of experience in digital growth strategy, digital marketing, or related roles with demonstrated success in driving user acquisition and engagement.
Experience managing complex digital ecosystems with multiple platforms and stakeholder groups.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire cross-functional teams and manage through ambiguity.
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
Background in public safety, telecommunications, or mission-critical service industries is a plus.
Familiarity with front-end technologies and digital product development lifecycle.
Expertise in data-driven marketing, growth hacking, and customer journey mapping.
