OnSemi is seeking a **Director of WBG (GaN) Driver Design** , NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, Power Management, to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. This group is responsible for development of Power management products including DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, Dr. MOS, AC-DC converters, LED drivers, SiC drivers, Switches and efuses for consumer, industrial and automotive applications. In this role, you will hire and lead a high-performing team of 10 - 12 engineers in the development of next-generation **Wide Bandgap (GaN) driver ICs** . This leadership role is pivotal in driving **multi-product execution in parallel** , ensuring innovation, quality, and timely delivery of advanced power management solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** + Mentor, inspire, and grow a diverse team of analog/mixed-signal IC design engineers + Assign projects, provide technical guidance, and oversee execution across multiple products simultaneously + Actively participate in hiring, talent development, and career progression planning + Lead architecture and circuit design of **GaN driver ICs** for high-speed, high-efficiency power conversion + Define IP serving multiple products for efficiency reuse and develop these with quality to meet the market need + Ensure robust design methodologies for WBG devices, addressing challenges such as high dV/dt immunity, EMI mitigation, and fast switching + Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitor the progress of IC layout + Oversee design verification, silicon evaluation, and production release + Develop schedules, resource plans, and track execution across multiple concurrent projects + Evaluate intermediate and final project results to ensure technical objectives are met + Provide full clarity to the team on goals, milestones, and deliverables + Work closely with systems engineers, applications engineers, and marketing to define product requirements and roadmap + Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams to ensure smooth transfer to production + Interface with customers and field teams to understand requirements, resolve issues, and provide technical support + Drive new concept creation and contribute to long-term roadmap formulation for GaN driver technologies + Define and enforce IP quality standards for industrial and automotive-grade products + Champion best practices in design, verification, and reliability for WBG devices. \#LI-RG1 **onsemi** (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
