**Job Description:** **Director – Cricket Sales** **Role Overview** The Director, Cricket Sales, is an executive leader responsible for driving growth and maximizing Cricket’s market impact across a diverse, multi-state territory in the Northwest and Western U.S. This role requires deep expertise in the wireless industry and a proven track record managing complex, partner-owned authorized retail networks. You will set and execute strategies, build high-impact relationships with authorized retailers, and tailor engagement approaches to regional demographics and market dynamics. This position is based in our Bothell, WA location Office presence is required several times per month along with in-territory travel. Relocation assistance is offered to well-qualified candidates. **Key Responsibilities** + **Territory Leadership:** Own sales strategy, execution, and performance across WA, OR, HI, AK, ID, CO, ND, SD, and WY, ensuring regional objectives are met or exceeded. + **Channel Partner Management** : Serve as the primary executive contact for authorized retailer partners in the region. Foster strong, trust-based relationships with partner owners and their leadership teams, addressing retailer segmentation and unique business models. + **Market & Demographic Insight:** Analyze market trends and regional demographic data to inform engagement strategies and optimize sales programs tailored to local customer profiles. + **Sales Strategy & Performance:** Develop and implement sales initiatives, monitor KPIs, and drive revenue growth through indirect, partner-owned retail channels. + **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Finance to execute cohesive go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns suited to regional needs. + **Budget & Resource Optimization:** Manage sales budgets and allocate resources strategically to maximize ROI across a geographically dispersed territory. + **Travel & Field Engagement:** Travel within the assigned region to build retailer relationships, support field teams, and ensure brand consistency and execution at the point of sale. + **Team Leadership:** Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of sales leaders and professionals, ensuring high engagement and performance across the territory. **Required Qualifications** + Minimum 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the wireless industry or a closely related field. + Demonstrated success managing multi-state or large regional sales territories, preferably with partner-owned or franchise retail models. + Deep understanding of authorized retailer operations, segmentation, and engagement strategies. + Strong analytical capability to interpret market and demographic data, shaping effective sales and engagement strategies. + Proven ability to travel extensively within the region. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred. + Experience in the wireless, telecommunications, or consumer electronics industries. + Proven ability to drive innovation in sales strategies and channel partnerships. **Key Traits** + Relationship-driven executive with the ability to influence, inspire, and engage diverse external partners. + Strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution in the field. + Highly adaptable and culturally aware, with a nuanced approach to regional market differences. + Strong communicator and collaborator, adept at leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. + Visionary leader and strategic thinker with a track record of driving transformative sales outcomes. **What Success Looks Like** + Achievement of sales and growth targets across all assigned states. + Deep, productive relationships with authorized retailer partners, leading to increased market share and brand loyalty. + Regionally tailored sales and engagement strategies that resonate with diverse customer demographics. + High-performing, motivated sales teams and strong field execution. **Compensation and Rewards** Our Director, Cricket Sales earns between $134,600 and $201,800 annually.
