The position will be responsible for the following:
Leading a team of strategy and business development professionalsTranslating customer needs into specific requirementsPlanning and executing BU-level investment strategiesIdentifying and tailoring company services across divisions and Sectors and solutions into offeringsProviding observations, insights and analysis of trends and opportunities in Naval / USMC / USCG warfare in the form of written reports and presentationsCreating and executing customer engagement plansServing as point of contact for government and customer organizationsReporting results of customer activity and engagementsSupporting annual and long-range strategic and financial planningSupporting responses to customer Requests for Information (RFI) and supporting capture efforts in support of customer Requests for Proposal (RFP)Engaging effectively across all levels and ranks of our government and industry partner organizationsCoordinating with P&L lead to align strategic direction and customer needsWorking closely with business execution team to ensure a clear, coordinated customer messagingBuilding coalitions across matrixed organizations to drive resultsDefining and understanding the warfighter’s hardest problems and interfacing with technical and business management teams to drive impactful solutionsSolving hard, complex problems by analyzing broad variables to include market drivers, business impact, and technological feasibilityTaking initiative on customer engagement with prime platform partner contractors, Government agencies, and small businessDeveloping business case analysisBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or 8 years with a Master’s; alternatively, equivalent military or business and program experience in lieu of formal business development experience consideredProven leadership skills. Ready to advance to executive-level leadershipDynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, strategic thinking with respect to customer needs, competitive positioning, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to think strategically, to identify and qualify new program opportunities, and to develop and implement creative approaches for executing early phase program activitiesAbility to think and execute tactically and strategically - deliver near term results while focusing on long term solutions and positioningStrong interpersonal skills that ensure collaborative and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and technical expertsExceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver executive level presentations, talking points, and point papers.U.S. Citizenship and an active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCIPreferred Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI clearance.Proven executive-level leadershipExperience in, and established relationships working with U.S. Navy requirements, Fleet, acquisition and / or resourcing organizationsExperience working directly for, or supporting OPNAV staff and / or Navy acquisition program officesKnowledge of DoD requirements, programming, budgeting, and acquisition processesThorough knowledge of government procurement and business development processes; experience in business development success across the phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)Experience with international sales / exportSalary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
