THE ROLE

We’re looking for a highly experienced, skilled marketer and leader to head up our Prestige Series Marketing team. This person will lead a team of talented creatives on campaigns for some of our highest-priority and most anticipated series. Ideal candidates have a proven track record of ground-breaking creative campaigns, stellar relationship management, and exceptional people leadership. 

This leader will oversee a team responsible for the day-to-day development and execution of 360 marketing campaigns for some of Netflix’s most exciting, anticipated, and high-profile series. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative and solutions-oriented, a proven and inspiring leader of talented creatives, approaches campaigns with an instinctual strategic mindset, has a strong creative point of view with an edge toward innovation and disruption, and importantly, can fit in seamlessly with a team of good-humored creative killers.
 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Oversee a team of highly talented, seasoned, and motivated creatives who are creating 360 marketing campaigns. 

Inspire the most innovative, groundbreaking, convention-defying campaigns the world has ever seen.

Lead with grace, positivity, and inspiration.

Lean into problem-solving with a confident mindset, crisp communication style, and optimistic approach. 

Act as a liaison and collaborator with leaders from key internal cross-functional teams, including Content, Publicity, Events, Media, and Social. 

Communicate effectively and collaborate directly with talent, showrunners, executive producers, talent representatives, and external studios.

Collaborate with regions outside the US to extend your campaign strategy and creative worldwide and maximize their impact when needed.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Baseline: You are a killer with a heart of gold. (You are peerless in your creative taste and ability to execute, but you lead without ego or fear.)

You have at least 12 years of experience in entertainment marketing at a network, studio, agency, or brand.

You have a proven track record of people management, having led creatives for 5+ years.

You have built world-class, culturally relevant, conversation-driving creative. 

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you love to keep things organized, and you are not easily overwhelmed.

People like working with you and have always looked to you as a thought leader, even when they don’t report to you.

Your work has won awards and/or received press coverage for its exceptional quality.

You are a proactive self-starter who is resourceful and solution-oriented. You demonstrate strong judgment and decision-making skills. 

You can conceptualize and articulate creative strategy and big ideas that people will rally around, telling a cohesive, strategic, and compelling story across all platforms.

You know that listening is the most important part of communicating.

You can stand out and shine in a room of senior executives, showrunners, producers, talent, and talent representatives.

You look to give credit and opportunity to those on your team (rather than grab for yourself), but take responsibility when something goes wrong.

You strive to innovate, try new technologies, and disrupt marketing norms in your work. 

You are passionate and curious about all aspects of the entertainment business.

 

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $430,000.00 - $789,000.00.
