Overview
Mastercard has a vision to build a leadership position as the only truly multi-rail payments technology company and Europe is at the forefront in defining and executing our multi-rail strategy.

The Mastercard Move Central Europe team is looking for a Director, Specialist Sales focusing on driving long-term and short-term strategic initiatives in commercializing Mastercard Move across Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Your role will involve crafting compelling value propositions, developing go-to-market strategies, driving business development, and collaborating with local account management teams & customer solutions centres. You'll also maintain a constant alignment with the regional product team to ensure our products evolve to meet the division's needs.

What you will do
You will act as the business owner for Mastercard Move in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia, leading both long term strategy and day to day execution. Your key responsibilities include:
Go to Market & Commercial Leadership
•\tCraft compelling value propositions tailored to priority customer segments across Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
•\tLead business development efforts: pipeline creation, deal shaping, sales training, and partner engagement.
•\tEvaluate business cases, new business models and partnership opportunities to strengthen our competitive position.

Strategy & Insights
•\tDrive market analysis and translate insights into impactful commercial and product strategies.
•\tSelect and monitor KPIs that measure commercial success and turn data into actionable insights.

Cross Functional Orchestration
•\tWork closely with the regional product organization and global New Payment Platforms teams to shape product evolution for Europe.
•\tPartner with the Customer Solutions Center Lead and other stakeholders to identify, qualify and convert business opportunities.
•\tEnsure seamless delivery and implementation for customers.
•\tMonitor and ensure customer success and performance.

Advocacy & Influence
•\tServe as an ambassador for Mastercard Move internally and externally.
•\tChampion the adoption of innovative money movement solutions across the ecosystem.

Some travel will be required.

About You

Experience & Expertise
•\tExtensive professional experience executing business development across different payment types, technologies and customer segments (banks, fintechs, corporates, merchants, software vendors, governments). Having an existing industry network in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia will be a key differenciator.
•\tProven experience translating strategies into clear action plans for multiple markets simultaneously.
•\tProven track record managing P&L and delivering sales beyond targets.
•\tExperience in Cross Border Payments is a must (including understanding of market economics and dynamics of FX rates). Experience in Card push payments is a strong plus.
•\tGood understanding of FX markets, the four party scheme and alternative payment methods.
•\tUnderstanding of the four-party model and alternative payment methods. Familiarity with a range of other payment network technologies and ecosystems is a strong plus.
•\tAbility to turn strategy into practical, actionable plans.
•\tBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

•\tFluency in English is required. Polish and/or Czech will differentiate you.
•\tStrong analytical skills: ability to simplify complexity and extract clear narratives from data and trends.
•\tSolid tech foundation: Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce are must haves. Skills in AI, Tableau and other productivity tools is highly valued.
