Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Software Engineering Director who can set a company-wide example of how to lead individual contributors as they plan work, execute daily tasks, and improve operations so that the team can produce consistent, predictable output. They are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of personal accountability, communication, integrity, and collaboration. They are data-driven in their approach to problems and decisions, are always looking for ways to improve the way things are done, and they instinctively lead making these changes happen. When not coaching and mentoring the people on their team, managers are working closely with other members of the management team, key business stakeholders, and senior technical staff across the department to align on strategy.

Aligns enhancements and modifications to existing software coding standard processes and design specifications, across regions, and ensures they are aligned with current security standardsGuides the implementation of automation to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of systems and tools across regions and supports development and implementation of new automation, identifying where investment will yield the greatest efficienciesMaintains communication with regional leadership across functions to monitor and direct the cadence of code reviews, on-call rotations, and incident responses throughout product development and operations cyclesLeverages back-end technical expertise on underlying systems/platforms across the organization to lead the development systematic improvements in processes to ensure the fulfillment of customer/business objectivesDrive alignment and strategy across teams, regions, and functions, focus on long-term automation, efficiency, and global standardsLead at the highest level, influencing broad organizational and regional strategiesThis is a hybrid position.
