Director, Security
Position Summary...A successful candidate will lead and strategically manage global safety and security programs by leveraging partnerships to achieve business goals. The Regional Director of Security will conduct security assessments and communicate plans to senior management. The role requires knowledge of corporate security, including security project management and emergency disaster response experience, as well as skills in document creation, effective communication, and international travel. The candidate will build high-performing teams, act with integrity, and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Maintain the best cross functional team relationships to ensure consistency of the global security programs in retail and non-retail business.Lead a team of subject matter experts to respond to insider threats and threats of violence and establish best practices.Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce, including recruiting, selecting, and developing talent.Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives, developing and implementing business strategies, and evaluating operational processes to meet business expectations.Cultivate an environment of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all the global security programs.

Leadership and Security Management: Demonstrates strong leadership skills and expertise in security management, including cross functional team relationship, insider threat and risk management.Talent Development: Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce, supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.Integrity and Ethics: Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics, integrating these values into all programs and practices.Data Management and Technology: Drives expansion of the security technology program by developing company response initiatives, establishing metrics, and proposing new technology enhancements.Cross-functional Collaboration: Leverages internal and external cross-functional relationships to minimize obstacles, collaborates across multiple countries, and understands current trends affecting business operations.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Risk Management, or related field and 5 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
