Our Enterprise Sales team enables the digital transformation of our customers and provides solutions across the entire range of information management capabilities. We partner with some of the largest organizations in the world, delivering sophisticated, secure, high-value, and cost-effective solutions – onsite, via mobile devices, private cloud, or in the cloud. Our portfolio includes comprehensive and integrated product suites such as Content Services, Process Automation, Experience Management, Cybersecurity, Information Exchange, and Analytics.
Your Impact
As the Sales Director for Canada, Public Sector- Non Federal, you will drive growth across the region by leading a team of high-performing account executives and cultivating strong customer relationships. You will work closely with enterprise clients to understand their business challenges and help them achieve digital transformation goals using OpenText solutions.
You bring a proven track record in enterprise software sales, the ability to execute go-to-market strategies, and the leadership skills to inspire and mentor your team. Your consultative approach, business acumen, and customer-first mindset will be instrumental in achieving growth targets and expanding OpenText’s footprint across Western Canada.
What the Role Offers
Direct leadership of a regional enterprise sales team, focused on driving revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer success.Execution of sales strategies aligned with OpenText’s broader priorities, tailored to the Western Canadian market.Building, coaching, and mentoring a high-performance team with a focus on consultative, value-based selling.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across key enterprise accounts.Driving enterprise-scale opportunities involving cloud, AI, cyber resilience, compliance, and secure collaboration solutions.Collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.Accountability for accurate forecasting, territory planning, and operational excellence within the region.What You Need to Succeed
8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and lead teams in achieving high performance.Strong knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, with experience managing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.Established relationships within Western Canadian enterprise markets is an asset.Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong business acumen, with the ability to position solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education in business or related fields is an asset.Bilingualism (English and French) is a plus Location preferred: MontrealOne Last Thing
