Establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and implements robust reporting to support strategic objectives and profitability, and formalizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). **Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities** + Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other applicable codes. Oversee safety programs, training, and audits to maintain a zero-incident environment. + Standardize SOPs for fabrication processes, equipment use, and maintenance. Ensure consistent practices across regions to maximize efficiency and scalability. + Define and track KPIs for production, quality, utilization, and safety. Deliver monthly performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities. + Implement data-driven dashboards and reporting tools for real-time operational visibility. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost centers, branch P&Ls, and regional metrics. + Mentor regional managers, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Detailing, and Purchasing to align operations with business goals. **Nature and Scope** + Problems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation. + Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. May set or change plans/goals within respective department or area. + May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level. **Work Environment** + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. **Education and Experience** Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred) + 8+ years in rebar fabrication or construction operations, including 5+ years in leadership. + Proven expertise in safety management, process standardization, and KPI-driven improvement. + Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting tools and dashboards. + Excellent communication and leadership abilities. + Strategic thinking and experience implementing enterprise-wide initiatives. + Knowledge of aSa, Oracle or similar ERP systems. + Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
