 The Director, Product Management Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Director, Product Management requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

The Director, Product Management is responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and performance of a diverse product portfolio, overseeing all stages of the product life cycle—from concept through market introduction and ongoing optimization. This leader develops products tailored to evolving customer and business needs, ensures alignment with organizational strategy, and drives achievement of cost and success metrics. The Director partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee strategy, development, and management of more than 50 products across domains such as Benefits & Eligibility, Drug Pricing, Clinical Programs, Medication Data, Formulary, and Networks.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of accountability, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement.Drive product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring alignment with enterprise and business priorities by collaborating across product lines and engaging directly with stakeholders.Facilitate ongoing structured conversations with business, IT, and leadership to refine and validate product and portfolio priorities.Make strategic decisions regarding new or updated products and programs, resource allocation, and implementation approaches.Oversee integration and relationship management with key partnersEstablish and evolve best practices in product management, supporting both technical and operational procedures.Monitor product performance post-launch, leveraging customer and partner feedback to guide ongoing optimization and ensure continued alignment with organizational goals.Lead process improvement initiatives within the product delivery lifecycle and associated systems.Support prioritization of initiatives within the approved technology budget.Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing enterprise-wide communications and collaboration to ensure product decisions support strategic objectives.Build strong relationships across the organization to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence at all levels.Effectively forecast and manage to operational and technology budgets

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 8 years of Product Management experienceMinimum 5 years of management experience.Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy or PBM experience.Demonstrated experience developing and executing product strategy.Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse teams of product managers.Experience in establishing new product organizations and developing ways of working.Familiarity with the software development life cycle.Experience with product management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Lucid).Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines, and work effectively with senior leadership.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.Flexible, dynamic, and passionate about improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Evidence of leveraging customer experience to drive product strategy and vision.Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$168,000 - $231,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
